The emphasis in this new digital era is on the shift from physical to digital. If we go to the offices, we find vast collections of files. Finding a file takes the office personnel a long time. Additionally, tangible files use a lot of costly paper. Our objective is to make the offices green and paperless.
The software that is used to organize, move, and operate with these files is a “File Management System”. FMS manages performance analysis and report generation in addition to tracking of the files. Staff members can process files remotely using the mobile application. They are able to generate files as well as examine and forward file information. FMS provides us with the ability to use the phone’s camera to locate a file using its QR code. Alternatively, we can find the file with its tracking ID. Therefore, locating a file is no longer a challenging task.

The establishment and maintenance of this system, where documents in various stages of processing are shared and exchanged continuously, depends on the tracking functionality of a file management system. It features a simple user interface where saved files are shown. It enables the user to explore, transfer, and sort them in accordance to various criteria, including the creation date, modification date, file type/format, size, and others.
